The list of prominent public functions at the EU member state level, at the level of international organisations, and at the level of the EU institutions and bodies has been published in the Official Journal of the Union.
The list provides clarity on country by country PEPs, in relation to the EU members states and as considered by the Union. Subject Persons will remain under their existing obligations to identify whether their customers (or beneficial owners of their customers) are PEPs, and to apply EDD accordingly.
